Brian Schloeder

Sophomore Brian Schloeder is set to become the first Midshipmen vaulter to compete at NCAA Nationals since Frank Kelley in 1945. Schloeder's pole vault of 5.45 meters at the NCAA First Round was a program record. Brian is the younger brother of All-Patriot League vaulter and Naval Academy graduate Alayna Schloeder. The sophomore is also coached by 2008 national champion vaulter Rory Quiller. Schloeder will compete on Wednesday, June 10, in Eugene, Oregon, and is guaranteed to become the first All-American pole vaulter in school history: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGXRcW1l1es
