Navy Aligns Public Works Under Installation Commanding Officers

WASHINGTON – The Navy today announced the completion of the transfer of public works maintenance teams from Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) to Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), placing approximately 10,000 civilian and military personnel under the direct authority of base commanding officers.
