Sunita Williams coming home. NASA to provide live coverage of Crew-9 return, splashdown
NASA will provide live coverage of the agency's SpaceX Crew-9 return to Earth from the International Space Station, beginning with Dragon spacecraft hatch closure preparations at 10:45 p.m. EDT Monday, March 17. NASA and SpaceX met on Sunday to assess weather and splashdown conditions off Florida's coast for the return of the agency's Crew-9 mission from the International Space Station. Mission managers are targeting an earlier Crew-9 return opportunity based on favorable conditions forecasted for the evening of Tuesday, March 18. The updated return target continues to allow the space station crew members time to complete handover duties while providing operational flexibility ahead of less favorable weather conditions expected for later in the week. NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, and Butch Wilmore, as well as Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, are completing a long-duration science expedition aboard the orbiting laboratory and will return time-sensitive research to Earth.

Sing Second Podcast - Service Academy Career Conference
Welcome to another great episode of the Sing Second podcast. We bring you the stories and happenings at the Naval Academy and the Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation (AA&F).  The Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation hosted SACC Atlanta March 12-13th at the Hyatt Regency.  More than 340 candidates from all the service academies and approximately 60 companies were in attendance for this premier job fair event. President and CEO Jeff Webb '95 joined SACC Executive Director Mike Lowe '98 and AA&F SACC Director Tonya McGinnis in networking with USNA alums and hearing from companies and recruiters about the job market and the demand signal for Academy alums in the various industries represented. We interview a West Point alum who was attending his first SACC. We interview one of the company recruiters - also a West Point alum. Boo. And we chat with Reggie Baker '92 about his company and why SACC is the premiere job fair for Academy alums.  And we finish off the pod by talking about the disappointing end of the Navy Basketball season, legendary sports columnist John Feinstein and a big star win for Navy Baseball!. That and more on the best Alumni Association and Foundation podcast there is. Give a listen. Beat Army...always.

Alumni Association & Foundation hosts first of two Beyond Commissioning events with the Class of 2025
On March 17th, the AA&F hosted the first of two engagements with the Class of 2025 as they prepare for commissioning and life in the Fleet and Marine Corps. Many Midshipmen don't know or remember that they became alumni of USNA and joined the AA&F when they took the oath on I Day four years ago.  At “Beyond Commissioning,” Mids discover more about available resources from the AA&F to connect, communicate and support them throughout their military and civilian careers. The Mids meet with AA&F leadership and once again connect with their Another Link in the Chain (ALITC) shipmates from 1975. Watch this amazing video as '75 wishes the Class of 2025 best of luck as they near graduation.
