NASA to Host Briefings, Interviews for Agency’s SpaceX Crew-5 Mission (Mann '99)

A pair of news conferences on Thursday, Aug. 4, at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston will highlight the agency’s SpaceX Crew-5 mission to the International Space Station. This will be Mann’s first spaceflight since becoming an astronaut in 2013. As mission commander, she will be responsible for all phases of flight, from launch to re-entry. She will serve as an Expedition 68 flight engineer aboard the station. Read more here.

Lifetime of Service Leads Naval Academy graduate to become Anne Arundel priest (Bors '83)

Serving others has always been James Bors’ mission in life.Bors attended the Naval Academy in the 1980s, then served in the Navy for seven years, eventually becoming a father, husband, teacher and parishioner in Annapolis.
