Honoring Lt. Cmdr. Philip Labatte ’64 for Distinguished Service

Retired Navy Lt. Cmdr. Philip Labatte ’64 was recently honored at a ceremony hosted by the Melvin Roads American Legion Post in East Greenbush, New York, in recognition of his service during the Vietnam War.A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Labatte completed two tours aboard the USS Saint Paul off the coast of North Vietnam. He later served with the 1st Marine Regiment as a fire support coordi
