New Distinction for Alum Announced (Carter ’47)

Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro announced that the academic building formerly named Maury Hall has been renamed Carter Hall for former President Jimmy Carter '47. The building houses the political science department and languages and cultures departments. Carter is a 1947 USNA graduate, 2002 Distinguished Graduate Award recipient, served as 39th President of the United States, and is a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Read more here.
