Brigade Boxing set for Historic Matchup (McNally '23, Johnson '23)

MIDN Adrain Johnson ’23 and MIDN Aidan McNally ’23 know what it takes to be champions in the ring. They have one thing in common - they are both 3-time United States Naval Academy Brigade Boxing Champions.

The 82nd Brigade Boxing Championship will feature 15 bouts, but nothing will be as special or historic for McNally and Johnson than this final chance at their 4th Brigade Boxing title.

For the first time in US Naval Academy Boxing history, two 3-time champions will compete in the championship. As our U.S. Naval Academy Alumni know, history is often made through sacrifice - these two Midshipmen have agreed to give up the chance to win their own weight class by fighting in a collective weight class to ensure they face off against each other for their last brigade boxing championship bid.
