Recap of USNA Alumni Community in Dublin, Ireland

Published on August 30, 2023

Our alumni community presence was felt in Dublin, Ireland this past week for the festivities surrounding Navy vs. Notre Dame. Navy’s connections to Ireland run deep and the rivalry between the two teams continued with over 45,000 fans in attendance for the sold-out game. Here are a few of our favorite moments from Dublin:

For his 90th birthday, Phillip H. Taylor ’58, USN attended Navy vs. Notre Dame in Dublin with his family. “Without my family, I would never have made it here. I had the opportunity to come, and I wouldn’t pass it up.”
