During Cleveland's 2023 Navy Week (which emphasizes the importance of the U.S. Navy to Cleveland, the state of Ohio, and the nation) Cleveland Guardians Outfielder Will Brennan received a surprise pregame shoutout from his sister LT Samantha Brennan '15, USN who is serving as a Weapons Officer aboard the USS Carl M. Levin (DDG 120).

During her shoutout, LT Brennan said, “Go Navy, and go Guards!”'
