Did You Know? There are currently 12 Aircraft Carriers in the U.S. Navy inventory. This includes Pre Commissioning Unit (PCU) CVN 79 - USS John F Kennedy. The Commanding Officers of 8 of those 12 CVNs are USNA grads. And the Executive Officers of 8 of those 12 CVNs are USNA grads.

The Class of ‘96 claims 6 of the 12 CVN CO billets.
